I’m Sarah and I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, military spouse, mama, and the founder of Black Spruce Virtual Care.

I’ve been a registered nurse in emergency care since 2017 and a nurse practitioner since 2022 with experience in family medicine, urgent, and emergent care here in rural Alaska.

Working in Alaska has shown me how challenging it can be to access care. I created Black Spruce to make care easy to access while also ensuring convenient, quality, and personal care.

My approach is straightforward: I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, respected in your decisions, and confident about your next steps.
